ISIRI 6219:2002 is a standard published by Institute of Standards and Industrial Research of Iran (ISIRI) on modern information interchange in the Persian language.
The standard was written by the FarsiWeb Project Group, but has incorporated lots of feedback from members of the meeting of the national committee discussing the standard and many members of the PersianComputing community. It was officially sponsored by the High Council of Informatics of Iran.
The standard is titled "Information Technology — Persian Information Interchange and Display Mechanism, using Unicode".
